Project of Fundação Getulio Vargas and University of Warwick approved by the British Council
The proposed project “Analysis of the contribution of the internationalisation process to research quality and impact: collaboration between FGV and the University of Warwick using the CAPES PrInt FGV case study”, presented by FGV in partnership with Warwick in response to the Call from the British Council “Qualification and Internationalisation for Higher Learning, Universities for the World Program”, has been approved.
The main objective of this project is to develop a method and indicators to evaluate and monitor the quality and impact of research projects carried out under the auspices of the FGV CAPES PrInt program. This method will be based on the Research Excellence Framework (REF), which is the system used in the United Kingdom to assess the quality and impact of research by institutions of higher learning.
The method to be developed (MAQ-FGV) will be widely disseminated and can be applied by other institutions of higher learning, thus contributing to improve the quality and impact of Brazilian academic research.
